100 Poems of Kabir

Duality of Kabir's poems is one of the main concepts that was in mind during the making of this book. Some illustrations followed the path of imagery received from multiple poems. Exposed binding and serigraphy on board have set the mundane flavor of this book. 

Bishader Pandulipi

Designing poetry book is difficult. Reception of any poem is often affected by its usage of space. Bishader Pandulipi was more difficult for its illustrations. Poet's experience and thought created some internal imageries in the poems. Also translator's interpretation added another layer. I tried to avoid them. These illustrations can be seen as a response of the source text, as another translation of them. 

Towards Sustainable Flow

Jaladarsha Collective works on the water issue. After two consecutive booklets on the ponds of Kolkata in 2022-23, they did a significant and important citizen's audit of Kolkata's canals. This report includes maps, tables and photographs and detailed write ups. Accommodate all these materials and keeping a balance between text and other objects— were the main concerns for this book design. And an overall minimalist design principle has been followed. 

Cinema Posterer Itikotha

Poster and book have two different ways of communicating their viewers (or readers). One is meant for close distance communication and another is for long distance. This book design have merged these two types. This book is in a sense a meticulously curated exhibition. An ephemeral treatment became necessary for making this book. Endleaves of this book is an imaginary wall full of posters of films from different time and place.

The Bhagavadgītā 

A minimal design principle has been followed for this book. A motif of sankha is used in every chapter of the main text as a reference of Kṛṣṇa's conch Pāñcajanya. This conchshell signifies the junction of Kukshetra war and the dialogue between Kṛṣṇa and Arjun i.e. Bhagavadgītā. In the cover this dialogue betwenn these two mythical character is depicted.
